Watkins Glen, 23rd August. The Ferrari 333 SP of Gianpiero Moretti won the Watkins Glen 6 Hour race, the fifth round of this season's Can-Am Championship. Moretti, driving with Didier They and Mauro Baldi has thus achieved the triple of the most prestigious sports car races to be held in the USA; this success following on from those in the Daytona 24 Hours and the Sebring 12 Hours. For the Italian gentleman driver this win had a special significance, given that just yesterday Moretti had announced he was retiring from racing.
Anderstorp, 16th August - A fifth consecutive win in as many races of the ISRS series for the Ferrari 333SP. For Vincenzo Sospiri and Emmanuel Collard this Anderstorp win was their fourth in a row, beating the F 333 SP of Freddy Lienhard and Didier Theys by one lap.
Donington, 19th July - Fourth win from four starts for the Ferrari 333 SP in the ISRS series. After Lienhard-Theys win at Paul Ricard, Collard-Sospiri win at Brno and Misano, these two made it a hat-trick with this win in the English race.
Le Mans, 7th June - Two Ferraris crossed the chequered flag of the 24 Hours of Le Mans: team Doyle-Risi's and team MOMO's F 333 SP finished respectively 8th and 14th. The winners were McNish-Aiello-Ortelli at the wheel of a Porsche GT1 98, who completed 351 laps.
Le Mans, 7th June - After 19 hours two Ferraris 333 SP are still racing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Team Doyle-Risi's car, driven by Wayne Taylor, Eric Van de Poele and Fermin Velez, is 9th and 1st of the protos, 14 laps down from the leaders, Boutsen-Kelleners-Lees' Toyota GT One.

The Ferrari F 333 SP was a major protagonist in two of the world's motor racing events last weekend. At Brno (Czech Republic) the Ferrari barchetta won the second round of the ISRS series with a team made up of the Italian Vincenzo Sospiri and the Frenchman, Emmanuel Collard.
Monza, 29th March - Second place for the Ferrari 333 SP in the Monza 1000 Kilometres. The car belonging to the team made up of Calderari, Nappi, Zadra and Lilian Bryner, finished the race 11 laps behind the McLaren F1 GTR of Bscher and Lees, who completed the 1000 kilometres in 5 hours, 8m 55.952s. The other two F 333 SP entered were unlucky. The team MOMO car, victorious in the 24 Hours of Daytona with and the Sebring 12 Hours with Gianpiero Moretti, Didier Theys and Mauro Baldi had been quickest in qualifying, ahead of the same Team Risi car in the hands of Wayne Taylor and Eric Van de Poele.
Sebring, 22nd March - The Team MOMO Ferrari F 333 SP, driven by Gianpiero Moretti, Didier Theys and Mauro Baldi has won the 12 Hours of Sebring. Car number 30 finished the race having completed 319 laps, one lap and 31.918s ahead of the Panoz Ford GTR1 of Andy Wallace, David Brabham and Doc Bundy. The second F 333 SP run by Team Risi finished sixth, 19 laps down, driven by James Weaver, Fermin Velez and Eric Van de Poele.
Mugello, 15th February 1998 Drivers: Michael Schumacher driving F 300, chassis no. 183 Eddie Irvine driving F 300, chassis no. 181. Weather: Air temp. 9 - 15 C, track temp. 10 -20 C, light mist in the morning then sunshine for the rest of the day. Dry track. Testing began at 10h00 Michael undertook a race distance simulation with two planned refuelling and tyre stops.
After a long wait, Ferrari returned to its winning ways at Daytona, thanks to the F 333 SP of team MOMO. Yesterday's success, the 19th from 39 starts for the cars from Maranello, brought with it several records: those for the fastest race lap and qualifying (respectively, Dalmas in 1m 39.195s and Papis in 1m 40. 545s, both in the Team Scandia car) and also the record for the greatest number of lasp covered in 24 hours.
Daytona, 1st February - Ferrari won this years' edition of the 24 Hours of Daytona thanks to the Team MOMO's F 333 SP, driven by the team owner Gianpiero Moretti, the Italian Mauro Baldi, the Belgian Didier Theys and the Dutch Arie Luyendyk.
Laguna Seca, 26th October - Ferrari finished second and Ford won the Pro World Sports Car Championship: this was the outcome of the final race of the season at Laguna Seca. The race was won by the Ford R&S MKIII of John Paul Jr. and Butch Leitzinger, the latter also taking the drivers' title.
Sebring, 18th October - Ferrari finished first and second at Sebring in the penultimate round of this season's World Sports Car Championship. First was the F 333 SP of Andrea Montermini and Antonio Hermann, followed home by the second Team MOMO car of Freddy Lienhard and Didier Theys. The F 333 SP of Eliseo Salazar and Dean Hall just missed out on making it an all-Ferrari podium as they finished fourth, while Rob Morgan's car was seventh. In qualifying, Montermini took pole, his fourth from seven races this season.
Fountain, 28th September - The Ferrari 333 SP of Andrea Montermini and Antonio Hermann won the "Festival of Road Racing" run at the Pikes Peak track in Fountain, Colorado. This was round nine of the Professional World Sports Car Championship. For the start, the Hermann and Montermini Number 30 Ferrari was on pole.
Las Vegas, 20th September - The Ferrari 333 SP of Andrea Montermini and Antonio Hermann finished third in the Las Vegas Grand Prix, the eighth round of the Professional World Sports Car Championship.
Bowmanville, 31st August - The Ferrari 333 SP of Ron Fellows and Rob Morgan won the Mosport Festival, run on the Mosport Park circuit in Ontario, Canada. The event was round seveon of this season's Professional World Sports Car series.
Sears Point, 13th July - The F 333 SP of Fermin Velez and Eduardo Dibos finished third in the Toshiba Copiers & Fax California Grand Prix, the sixth round of the World Sports Car series. The race was won by the Dyson team's Ford Riley & Scott MK-III, driven by Andy Wallace and James Weaver, who finished 9.342s ahead of the other Ford, that of Elliot Forbes-Robinson and Butch Leitzinger. Four F 333 SP were entered for the race.
Sebring, 15th March - Ferrari has won the Sebring 12 Hours, the second round of this year's IMSA Championship. The 333 SP No. 3 Team Scandia car driven by Yannick Dalmas, Stefan Johansson, Fermin Velez and Andy Evans was first past the flag at the end of a very closely fought race. After an unlucky start, which saw Dalmas forced to pit to change a punctured tyre after being rammed by Leitzinger's Ford, the Maranello car was in the lead after one hour.
Sebring, 15th March - Team Scandia's Ferrari 333 SP no. 3 leads the race at halftime. The car co-driven by Evans-Velez-Dalmas-Johansson covered 134 laps, the same as Ford no. 16 (Weaver-Leitzinger-Wallace-Paul Jr). The Team MOMO's Ferrari no. 30, is third 1 lap behind. Out of the race is the third Ferrari, Team Scandia's no. 43, now ranked 26th , 18 laps behind the leaders.
Sebring 15th March - The race provided a really unlucky start for the three F333 SP entered in the Sebring 12 Hours, second round of the IMSA Championship. The three cars occupied the first three places on the grid. In pole position was car number 3 (Team Scandia) driven by Frenchman Yannick Dalmas and the Swedish Stefan Johannson, Spain's Fermin Velez and Andy Evans. Alongside side them was the second Team Scandia car, No. 43, in the hands of Charles Morgan, partnered by Rob Morgan, Velez and Evans.
