Height-Adjustable TechArt Vario and VarioPlus Sport Suspensions

For PASM or conventional suspensions: TechArt Automobildesign offers height-adjustable coil-over suspensions for all Porsche 997-series models, developed jointly with Bilstein.

The TechArt VarioPlus coil-over suspension is available for all vehicles factory-equipped with the electronically adjustable PASM damper system. This chassis offers not only an individually adjustable ride height by up to 25 millimeters, but also selectable ‘Normal’ and ‘Sport’ damper settings at the push of a button on the dashboard.

However, the settings are not limited to these presets. Both settings automatically firm up their damper rates during sporty driving. The result is an optimal symbiosis of excellent ride comfort during leisurely driving and agile, highly responsive handling during fast cornering.

The TechArt Vario chassis for cars with conventional damping was set up in company with the Bilstein racing service on different race tracks such as the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring and the Hockenheimring.

In contrast to conventional coil over suspensions TechArt Automobildesign don’t only allow to individually lower the car by up to 35 millimeters front and rear with their innovative solution.

The TechArt Vario sport suspension also has sport shock absorbers which can be adjusted in rebound and compression in nine different levels. As a result the set-up can be individually adapted to any driver and any operational area – whether race track or road use.
