World Debut at the ESSEN-MOTOR-SHOW 2006
TechArt Tuning for the new Porsche 911 Turbo
580 hp / 427 kW, 0 – 100 km/h in 3.46 Seconds, 339 km/h V/max
Maximum performance paired with optimized aerodynamics: TechArt Automobildesign turns the new Porsche 911 Turbo into one of the world’s fastest and most powerful street-legal sports cars. 580 hp / 427 kW, 0 – 100 km/h in 3.46 seconds only and a maximum speed of 339 km/h are the most important performance figures of this car.
The 3.6 liter boxer engine was modified by TechArt in many details. Two bigger turbochargers contribute to the TechArt engine tuning just as the sports air filter and the stainless steel exhaust system with special manifolds and integrated high performance catalysts. All modifications get exactly tuned by the recalibrated ECU.
After the conversion the engine delivers 580 hp / 427 kW at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 700 Nm at 4,850 rpm. Power transmission to all four wheels is made via a modified six-speed manual gearbox with TechArt gearshift travel shortage and additional gearbox-oil cooling. Of course the TechArt engine conversion is also available for cars with Tiptronic transmission.
The coupe tuned by TechArt is one of the world‘s fastest super sports cars: The two-seater coupe catapults from 0 - 100 km/h in 3.46 seconds. Maximum speed is 339 km/h.
These performance figures make greatest demands on perfectly balanced aerodynamics. The TechArt designers developed bodywork components in the wind tunnel which don’t only give the 911 Turbo its distinctive look but especially optimal aerodynamic downforce and a drag coefficient reduced by 4 percent.
The TechArt front spoiler reduces aerodynamic lift by 15 percent. They also moulded a new wing profile for the retractable production rear spoiler which produces 20 percent extra downforce in conjunction with the TechArt rear diffuser. The understated TechArt roof spoiler visually stretches the roofline.
The TechArt side sills give the 911 top-of-the-line model a longer, sleeker look. The side mirrors can be attractively upgraded using the TechArt mirror moldings. The look is rounded out with moldings for the headlights.
Especially for the new Porsche 911 Turbo they developed the striking TechArt Formula five-spoke wheels in size 8.5Jx20 in front and in size 12Jx20 on the rear axle. TechArt recommends ContiSportContact 3 tires in sizes 245/30 ZR 20 and 325/25 ZR 20 for mounting on these wheels.
The TechArt VarioPlus coil-over suspension is available for the electronically adjustable PASM damper system of the new Turbo. This chassis offers not only an individually adjustable ride height by up to 25 millimeters, but also selectable ‘Normal’ and ‘Sport’ damper settings at the push of a button on the dashboard.
However, the settings are not limited to these presets. Both settings automatically firm up their damper rates during sporty driving. The result is an optimal symbiosis of excellent ride comfort during leisurely driving and agile, highly responsive handling during fast cornering.
As a world-renowned specialist for exclusive interior creations TechArt Automobildesign also offers individual interiors for the latest 911 top-of-the-line version in all colors and designs.
The 580 hp / 427 kW Turbo was upgraded with an exclusive TechArt CarboBlack leather trim, white cockpit panels matching the car’s outside color and further sporty accessories. They include an ergonomically shaped airbag sport steering wheel, foot pedals, foot rest and shift knob all made from aluminum as well as stainless-steel sill plates with TechArt logo.

Athletic Beauty:
TechArt Widebody based on the Porsche Cayman S
Athletic beauty: The TechArt Widebody based on the Porsche Cayman S doesn’t only offer spectacular design but also extra driving fun and agility. After the huge success of the Widebody concept for the current Boxster generation, TechArt Automobildesign now developed a wide body version for the mid-engine coupe.
With the add-on fender flarings on front and rear axle the TechArt Widebody is eight centimeters wider than the standard car. The front extensions don’t only provide extra room inside the wheel houses but also improve the deventilation of the heated up air with their integrated wheel-house ventilation. The rear flarings are equipped with largely dimensioned air ducts to bring fresh air to the centrally placed engine.
Apart from spectacular, sporty design the TechArt designers of course paid attention to optimal aerodynamic efficiency. The TechArt front spoiler bumper reduces the lift at the front axle and improves the cooling of the front brakes with large air ducts. The TechArt rear apron with integrated diffuser rounds out the conversion.
The tail of the car can be alternatively upgraded with the large TechArt GT sport rear wing or a subtle rear spoiler.
Extremely broad wheels and tires make the TechArt Widebody concept for the Boxster complete: Specially for this wide body version they developed custom-made versions of the one-piece TechArt Formula five spoke wheel. The front axle is equipped with wheels in size 8.5Jx20, the rear axle is equipped with 12Jx20 wheels.
After extensive test drives, TechArt Automobildesign recommends ContiSportContact 2 high performance tires in sizes 235/30 ZR 20 front and 305/25 ZR 20 rear for the Widebody. The height-adjustable TechArt sport suspension is specially set-up for these ultra-wide wheels and tires and the wider track of the car. The coil-over suspension doesn’t only provide an individual damping of the roadster but also lowers the two-seater car by some 25 millimeters. Cayman models with PASM system can be updated with the sporty set up TechArt VarioPlus coil over sport suspension. This suspension isn’t only adjustable in height but also in damping by a push on the button inside the cockpit.
TechArt also offers engine tuning for the Widebody. The two watercooled six-cylinder boxer engines can be upgraded with the TechArt power kits. They each consist of a sport air filter and newly programmed engine electronics. The result: 15 hp / 11 kW extra power and optimized road performance.
Another performance option is the TechArt increase in displacement from standard 3,387 cm³ to 3,824 cm³. The increase is facilitated by a bore enlarged to 99 millimeters with the corresponding larger special pistons, and by the installation of a special crankshaft.
The engine conversion further includes sports camshafts. A modified intake manifold with special air filter system and an aluminum header provide ample combustion air. The perfect interaction of all these components including the fully stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with high-performance manifolds is orchestrated by new mapping for the engine electronics.
With a maximum power output of 385 hp / 283 kW and a peak torque of 407 Nm the TechArt displacement engine satisfies both highly sporty minded drivers as well as those pilots who want lots of pulling power from low engine speed.
Powered by this engine, the mid-engine sports car offers excellent performance: The sprint from 0 - 100 km/h takes just 4.9 seconds, and with a top speed of 303 km/h the TechArt two-seater easily bests its production counterpart in this discipline, too.
TechArt offers individual full leather trims in all colors and designs for the Widebody. The range reaches from completing the ex-works leather trims up to a completely redesigned cockpit with special sports seats and ergonomically shaped airbag sports steering wheel.

TechArt Formula II
New Designer Rim for All Current Porsche Models
The new designer rim for all current Porsche models has arrived! With the new Formula II light-alloy wheel TechArt Automobildesign presents a multi-piece wheel that evolved from the TechArt Formula wheel.
The new wheel design is characterized by a captivating combination of the striking TechArt Formula five-spoke design with stylized screws in the outer ring of the star and a highly polished exchangeable stainless-steel flange.
The advantage of this design is apparent: A flange that was scratched by scraping the curb can be easily and inexpensively exchanged for a new one and the TechArt Formula II wheel shines like new again.
The new light-alloy wheel with 19-inch diameter is available in sizes 8.5Jx19 and 11Jx19. With 20-inch diameter the selection of TÜV-tested sizes ranges from 8.5Jx20 and 11Jx20 to 12Jx20. 22-inch wheels for the Porsche Cayenne are available in 10.5Jx22 and 11.5Jx22 sizes. TechArt Automobildesign recommends ContiSportContact 3 high-performance tires.
MSRP’s for the new TechArt Formula II light-alloy wheels start at 750 Euros.
TechArt MAGNUM based on the Porsche Cayenne Turbo
High Performance SUV with 600 hp / 442 kW, 865 Nm, 292 km/h V/max and muscular Designer Outfit
TechArt MAGNUM with 600 hp / 442 kW twin-turbo V8 and muscular designer outfit: This is the exclusive high performance SUV Made by TechArt Automobildesign.
The TechArt engine department was hard at work developing an extremely powerful version. The TechArt TA 048/T3 performance kit consists of two larger turbochargers, a high performance intercooler, the TechArt sport exhaust system as well as a redesigned intake manifold. A newly programmed Motronic and a sport air filter complete this tuning level.
In this guise the twin-turbo V8 engine delivers 600 hp / 442 kW and a peak torque of 865 Nm. The 4x4 storms from rest to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 292 km/h.
The perfect complement to the power kit is the TechArt fully stainless-steel TechArt sport exhaust system. Cayenne owners can choose to combine the rear muffler with the stock tailpipes of the car or with four chrome-plated TechArt tailpipes.
The fender flares of the TechArt MAGNUM body conversion add eight centimeters to the width of the SUV from Zuffenhausen. That means there’s room for king-size 10Jx22 one-piece TechArt Formula light-alloy wheels all around. The ContiSportContact 2 tires in size 295/30 ZR 22 on front and rear axles are approved on the Cayenne for speeds up 300 km/h.
The TechArt MAGNUM front apron looks great with its strikingly styled large air inlets. It features two fog lamps and two high beams, and its refined shape reduces lift on the front axle at high speeds.
The TechArt MAGNUM side sills form a harmonious transition between front and rear fender flares.
The TechArt MAGNUM rear apron features custom cutouts for the two intertwined oval-shaped tailpipes of the stainless-steel TechArt sport exhaust system. An integrated diffuser helps reduce lift on the rear axle.
TechArt Automobildesign further refines the Cayenne body with headlight moldings, a three-piece tail lamp molding and a rear panel that carries the shape of the rear apron over to the tailgate.
The new TechArt hood is strikingly styled and features air outlets for improved venting of hot air from the engine bay, thus contributing to a thermally healthy engine.
TechArt Automobildesign also modifies the suspension of the widened Cayenne extensively. For vehicles equipped with air suspension there is the TechArt sport module, which can lower the ride height of the SUV for on-road operations by up to 60 millimeter. For tough off-road use the ride height can be increased by up to 70 millimeters.
TechArt Automobildesign can also refine the Cayenne interior in countless ways. The options for the Porsche Cayenne range from exclusive cockpit accessories to the completion of the leather interior available ex-factory to an entirely new individual TechArt fully leather interior. Also available is a stylishly integrated state-of-the-art multimedia system.
TechArt GTsport
385 hp / 283 kW, 407 Nm and 303 km/h from 3.8-liter Displacement
3.8-liter displacement, 385 hp / 283 kW at 6,600 rpm, a peak torque of 407 Nm at 4,600 rpm and a top speed of 303 km/h: Those are the performance cornerstones of the new TechArt GTsport, that TechArt Automobildesign builds in small-series production based on the Porsche Cayman S. MSRP starts at 100,000 euros.
At the heart of this mid-engine sports car lies the increase in displacement from standard 3,387 cm³ to 3,824 cm³. The increase is facilitated by a bore enlarged to 99 millimeters with the corresponding larger special pistons, and by the installation of a special crankshaft.
The engine conversion further includes sports camshafts. A modified intake manifold with special air filter system and an aluminum header provide ample combustion air. The perfect interaction of all these components including the fully stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with high-performance manifold is orchestrated by new mapping for the engine electronics.
With a maximum power output of 385 hp / 283 kW and a peak torque of 407 Nm the TechArt displacement engine satisfies both highly sporty minded drivers as well as those GTsport pilots who want lots of pulling power from low engine speed.
Powered by this engine, the mid-engine sports car offers excellent performance: The sprint from 0 - 100 km/h takes just 4.9 seconds, and with a top speed of 303 km/h the TechArt two-seater easily bests its production counterpart in this discipline, too.
The exhilarating performance is coupled with striking looks and refined aerodynamic properties. The TechArt GTsport front apron is designed to replace the production bumper. With its large air inlets and four auxiliary headlights it lends the two-seater a more dynamic appearance while reducing lift on the front axle at high speeds. The extendable carbon air splitter can further minimize aerodynamic lift.
The TechArt rocker panels were modeled to calm the airstream between front and rear wheel houses. They also give the two-seater a longer, sleeker appearance. Carbon mirror moldings round out the racing look of the TechArt GTsport.
To optimize downforce on the rear axle and for even more striking looks TechArt Automobildesign further equips the GTsport with a rear wing with extendable carbon gurney flap. The rear apron is refined by a carbon diffuser.
Striking looks and agile handling are the hallmarks of the TechArt tire/wheel combination on the GTsport. The especially light-weight one-piece TechArt Formula five-spoke wheels are mounted on the front axle in size 8.5Jx20 with ContiSportContact 3 tires in size 235/30 ZR 20. The rear axle features wheels in size 11Jx20 with size 305/25 ZR 20 tires.
Specially calibrated to these wheels and tires is the TechArt VarioPlus coil-over suspension for all vehicles that are factory-equipped with the electronically adjustable PASM damper system. This suspension not only allows adjustable ride-height lowering by up to 25 millimeters, but also manual selection of damper settings “Normal” and “Sport” at the push of a button in the cockpit. The dampers are not limited by the manually selected setting: Sporty driving automatically firms up the dampers in both suspension modes. The result is an optimal symbiosis of excellent ride comfort during normal driving and agile direct response during fast cornering.
As a world-renowned specialist for exclusive car interiors TechArt Automobildesign will customize the interior of the GTsport in the company-own upholstery shop according to customers’ individual specifications.
The product lineup includes exclusive fully leather interiors as well a numerous sporty accessories: TechArt offers ergonomically shaped airbag sport steering wheels with three or four spokes as well as aluminum foot pedals, shifter and foot rest. After the installation, which can be done directly at TechArt Automobildesign or by any authorized Porsche dealer, maximum power output for each model increases by 15 hp / 11 kW.
Performance improves accordingly: Depending on vehicle weight and the type of tires acceleration time from 0 - 100 km/h improves by slightly under half a second. Top speed increases by some 5 km/h. Even more important for everyday use is the even more spontaneous throttle response and the further improved liveliness of the tuned engines.
The perfect complement to the power kits is TechArt exhaust tuning, of which various versions are available. The product lineup includes oval-shaped dual tailpipes for the production exhaust system, a throttle-controlled sport exhaust system and a complete high-performance exhaust system with high-performance manifolds, sport catalysts and rear muffler.
Sporty elegance characterizes the design of the TechArt aerodynamic-enhancement kit: The production front apron receives more visual emphasis from the TechArt front spoiler. But that’s not all: The spoiler reduces aerodynamic lift, thus further improving directional stability at high speeds.
The alternatively available TechArt Type II front apron with integrated splitter produces downforce on the front axle and supplies lots of fresh air to the coolers and front brakes via larger, distinctively styled air intakes.
The TechArt side sills give the sportscar a longer, sleeker look. The understated TechArt rear spoiler optimizes the effect of the retractable production rear spoiler and lends the cabriolet an even more exciting appearance.
TechArt also developed a rear diffuser for the 997 models, which extends the rear apron downward and provides a dramatic backdrop for the two oval-shaped twin tailpipes of the TechArt sport exhaust system.
TechArt also offers an extensive wheel and suspension program: Owners of the new Porsche 911 Carrera or Carrera S can refine their cars with striking, light-weight TechArt Formula five-spoke wheels with 18-, 19- or 20-inch diameters.
The most exclusive version for the 911 Carrera 4 or 4S features one-piece TechArt Formula light-alloy wheels in size 8.5Jx20 in front and in size 12Jx20 on the rear axle. TechArt recommends ContiSportContact 2 tires in sizes 235/30 ZR 20 and 305/25 ZR 20 for mounting on these wheels.
Custom-calibrated to the TechArt tire/wheel combinations are the TechArt suspension solutions. The range of modifications starts with TechArt sport springs for a ride-height lowering of some 25 millimeters. It culminates in the TechArt Vario sport suspension that was developed in cooperation with Bilstein. Contrary to conventional coil-over suspensions this innovative solution not only offers the ability to lower the ride-height on front and rear axle individually by up to some 35 millimeters; the TechArt Vario sport suspension also features sport shocks with adjustable bound and rebound. This allows the suspension set-up to be adjusted to individual driver’s preferences and to the predominant use of the car – on public roads or on the racetrack.
TechArt Automobildesign also offers a height-adjustable coil-over sport suspension for the 997 models with PASM.
For the 997 model series TechArt also offers sport sway bars, a dome cross-brace, and a high-performance brake system with eight-piston aluminum fixed calipers and 365- or 380-millimeter brake discs.
As a world-renowned specialist for exclusive interior creations TechArt Automobildesign also offers individual interiors for the latest 911 Carrera 4 and 4S in all colors and designs.
The program comprises exclusive TechArt Colorline fully leather interiors as well as sporty accessories: TechArt offers ergonomically shaped airbag sport steering wheels, foot pedals, foot rest and shift knob all made from aluminum as well as stainless-steel sill plates with TechArt logo.
