Monza, March 20th - Third and final day of testing for Scuderia Ferrari- Marlboro at the Monza circuit. Today, Michael Schumacher was tasked with the long run test cancelled yesterday after he went off the track. Apart from a small problem with the clutch at the start, the grand prix simulation was successfully completed.

Maranello, 21st March 1997 Ferrari and Finmeccanica, with its companies AleniaAerospazio and Agusta, have reached a long term collaboration agreement. This collaboration will cover the exchange of technical information in the sectors of advanced technology using new materials, quality control systems and manufacturing processes with light alloys.

Rome, 20th March - The programme of events ot celebrate fifty years of Ferrari was presented in Rome today at a press conference held in the Sala Giulio Cesare, in the Palazzo del Campidoglio. The Mayor of Rome, Franceso Rutelli and Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo revealed the events which will take place in Rome.

Maranello, 21st March - The three F 310 B cars that Ferrari will field in the forthcoming Brazilian Grand Prix on 30th March at Interlagos were today given their shakedown. Eddie Irvine completed a total of 26 timed laps: 14 with Schumacher's car (chassis no. 174,) 6 in his own (173) and the rest in the spare (175.) His best time was 1m 00.985s.

Toronto, 19th March - The F 355 World Tour, a round the world drive in the Ferrari berlinetta carried out by journalists from the five continents, has reached the end of the first leg. Having started at 10 am (local time) yesterday from Park Avenue in New York, Sue Zeisiger, a journalist with Fortune magasine, drove the F 355 as far as Toronto, where she arrived this morning.

Monza, 19th March - Second day of testing for Ferrari at Monza. Michael Schumacher was scheduled to a grand prix simulation today with the F 310 B fitted with an 046/2 engine. Unfortunately he had a spin and hit a barrier at the side of the track, badly damaging the gearbox. Once it was repaired, the German driver did just a few laps to check that everything was in order. He did a total of 18 laps with a best time of 1m 25.208s.

Monza, 18 March - First test today at the Monza circuit for the F 310B. This testing session will last two more days with Eddie Irvine joining Michael Schumacher tomorrow. Today Schumacher completed 42 laps driving a car fitted with the 046/2 engine. Best laptime: 1.24.222. The German driver worked on the set up and tomorrow will simulate a Grand Prix. Irvine will test a few different tyre solutions.

Sebring, 15th March - Ferrari has won the Sebring 12 Hours, the second round of this year's IMSA Championship. The 333 SP No. 3 Team Scandia car driven by Yannick Dalmas, Stefan Johansson, Fermin Velez and Andy Evans was first past the flag at the end of a very closely fought race. After an unlucky start, which saw Dalmas forced to pit to change a punctured tyre after being rammed by Leitzinger's Ford, the Maranello car was in the lead after one hour.

Sebring, 15th March - Team Scandia's Ferrari 333 SP no. 3 leads the race at halftime. The car co-driven by Evans-Velez-Dalmas-Johansson covered 134 laps, the same as Ford no. 16 (Weaver-Leitzinger-Wallace-Paul Jr). The Team MOMO's Ferrari no. 30, is third 1 lap behind. Out of the race is the third Ferrari, Team Scandia's no. 43, now ranked 26th , 18 laps behind the leaders.

Sebring, 15th March - Tom Papadopoulos has won the first round of this season's North American series of the Ferrari Challenge, the series for Ferrari owner-drivers at the wheel of a version of the F 355.

Sebring 15th March - The race provided a really unlucky start for the three F333 SP entered in the Sebring 12 Hours, second round of the IMSA Championship. The three cars occupied the first three places on the grid. In pole position was car number 3 (Team Scandia) driven by Frenchman Yannick Dalmas and the Swedish Stefan Johannson, Spain's Fermin Velez and Andy Evans. Alongside side them was the second Team Scandia car, No. 43, in the hands of Charles Morgan, partnered by Rob Morgan, Velez and Evans.

Maranello, 14th March - Third and final day of this week's testing for Ferrari at Fiorano. It was Michael Schumacher's turn to drive today. The German driver completed 71 laps with a best time of 59.54s, which is a new record for Ferrari's test track.

Maranello, 13th March - Second day of this week's test session for Ferrari at Fiorano. In pleasant spring weather with temperatures of around 20 degrees, Gianni Morbidelli completed 82 laps, setting a best time of 1m 00.52s.

Maranello, 12th March - Ferrari's first day of testing since the Australian Grand Prix Today at Fiorano, Gianni Morbidelli had his first drive in a F 310 B. Scuderia Ferrari - Marlboro's official test driver completed 42 laps with a best time of 1m 02.49s. In the morning Morbidelli concentrated on getting comfortable in the cockpit. Testing was halted at around 3pm because of a problem with the 046/2 specification engine. Morbidelli will continue testing until the end of Friday.

Melbourne, Sunday 9th March Michael Schumacher finished second in the first round of the 1997 F1 World Championship. Villeneuve did not make a good start, but Schumacher was not involved in the subsequent accident between the Williams driver, Herbert and Irvine and was third at the end of the first lap. Eddie Irvine was unlucky in the race. After making a very good start from the third row of the grid, he had the inside line going into the first corner with Villeneuve and Herbert outside him.

Melbourne, Saturday 8th March The Ferrari's of Michael Schumacher (1m 31.472s) and Eddie Irvine (1m 31.881s) finished third and fifth respectively in today's qualifying session. Irvine set his time on his last run after the red-flagged session was re-started, while Schumacher set his time on his second run. The German driver completed 10 laps while the Irishman did 12.

Melbourne, Friday 7th March Michael Schumacher was fastest at the end of the first day of free practice with a time of 1m32.496s. Eddie Irvine was sixth in 1m34.157s The F 310 Bs took the track after half an hour of the first session had elapsed as there was very little grip at the start of the practice. 42 minutes into the first session Irvine had a slight coming together with Hakkinen, but his car escaped major damage.

Melbourne, Thursday 6th March 1997 Ferrari will tackle the Australian Grand Prix two months after the launch of the F 310 B on 7th January 1997 at Maranello. During this time, Ferrari has completed over 5500 kilometres with the F 310 B over 19 days of testing.

A leader in technological innovation, and the world's leading manufacturer of industrial and automotive paints, PPG became a supplier of Ferrari paints in 1997. The new range focuses on two basic themes: tradition and innovation. The first group includes classic Ferrari colours: Rosso Corsa, Giallo Modena, Nero and Argento Nnrburgring, which alone account for 90% of F 355 orders.

Auckland (New Zealand) At the annual Auckland intermarque concours held last 19th February, for the first time ever Ferrari took top honours, taking best car of show and best team. Up against 20 odd teams from Porsche, Jaguar, Alfa Romeo, MG, Lotus etc, Ferrari entered a 456GT, 328GTS and Daytona. The 456GT was delivered new to it's owner in September last year, and was used to tour around the UK before being shipped back to New Zealand, surviving the best efforts of the local wharfies to trash the white leather interior.

Maranello, 28th February - Today at Fiorano, Gianni Morbidelli carried out his first day's work of the season as Ferrari's test driver. In mild weather, Morbidelli completed a good 97 laps at the wheel of the team's 1996 car, the F310, setting a best time of 1m.01.42s. "I am pleased with what I have done today," said the Italian driver after the test. "It was the perfect training session for the forthcoming tests."
